If one of our immigration lawyers at Galstyan Law Group assist with your petition for a K1 visa, we will require the following:
• Proof that you are a U.S citizen
• Establish that you intend to marry your fiancé within 90 days of their arrival into the U.S
• Both you and your fiancé are eligible to marry. Any prior marriages must be legally terminated.
• That you and your fiancé have met previously, there are exceptions to this rule (which will require a waiver) however in most scenarios you need to provide evidence that you have both met in person, at least once within two years of filing your K1 visa petition with the USCIS.
