I-9 CNMI, Employment Eligibility Verification CNMI
Purpose of Form:
The purpose of this form is to verify the identity and employment authorization of each new employee (both citizen and noncitizen) hired in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) after November 27, 2009.

Where to File:
Do not file Form I-9 CNMI with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or USCIS. Form I-9 CNMI must be kept by the employer for three years after the date of hire or one year after employment is terminated, whichever is later. The form must be available for inspection by authorized U.S. Government officials (e.g., Department of Homeland Security, Department of Labor, Department of Justice).
